OBAN DISTILLERY: Right in the heart of the town, the distillery offers tours & tastings for their single malts. Established in 1794, the town of Oban actually built up around the distillery.

MCCAIG'S FOLLY: Located on the hill above the distillery, McCaig's Folly is an Oban landmark dating back to 1897 when an rich businessman built the Colloseum-like structure to give local labourer's much needed work. The original plan for the Folly was never completed and now inside the circular structure you will find tranquil gardens. Well worth the 10 minutes uphill walk from the town centre!

OBAN SEA LIFE SANCTUARY: Located at Barcaldine, just a few miles north of Oban, the Sea Life Sanctuary offers an interesting a fun day out for the whole family. Famous for its seal and otter rescue centre as well as large aquarium. There are daily talks and feedings and you can also enjoy getting to know the varous residents such as salmon shoals, rays and of course the common seals who inhabit the Underwater Seal Observatory. Children will enjoy the playground and of course there is a coffee shop and gift store.
