Oban - Guide

Arriving

You can reach Oban by train, coach, car or plane fairly easily. FirstScotrail run a daily train service to/from Glasgow and Scottish Citylink in association with national Express run a coach service which connects with many UK destinations via Glasgow. There is also now a seaplane service departing Glasgow.

Ferries

Oban is a really busy ferry port, known as the "Gateway to the Isles," and serves Lismore, Colonsay, Islay, Coll, Tiree, Craignure on Mull, and to Castlebay in Barra and Lochboisdale in South Uist.
